I shower 3 times a week, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Baths have always struck me as unhygienic. Why would you want to lie in your own dirt?

I take a shower every morning and I wash my hair every other day. On weekends I often take a break, though. :)

When I am home on vacation, I suppose I tend to shower every second day (as though every other day were a Saturday), when I need to wash my hair or it gets uncomfortable. If I am going out, though, I will shower that morning. If I am travelling on vacation (e.g. overseas) I will shower every morning.

In part, it depends on whether the day has a routine (workdays, Sundays, travelling), or whether I am just sleeping in, getting up and throwing on some old clothes and hanging out in my study, playing on the PC. Unstructured days are shower-free days, structured days are showering days.

You are very much like me in this respect.

When I'm home alone, I simply delay getting dressed a few minutes until I dry off completely, so I do some of my morning routine without clothing... When around others, I just put on my underwear for the same period.

I don't really know. I frequently forget or just don't bother. I kind of prefer to shower on days when I leave the house but I don't go out much and the more I have to do to get ready to go out the more likely I am to just give up and not bother leaving the house that day.

I shower everyday; sometimes I shower twice a day infact.

I bathe 2-3 times a week, and usually have a quick shower to rinse off after.

Thats the silliest question. I shower everyday, but why? The only reason I do it is because it's the cultural norm, and it's in my habit. You really do not need to bathe everyday, it's better for your skin if you don't and it saves water.

I guess I just got a little confused by that because I'm a teenager, and well teenagers... are oily :/ hahaha to put it bluntly! But is it really bad for your skin?

Well, it's not like bad bad, just less healthy. The body is meant to have it's oils on it. I heard this from my dad, who is a health expert.

I shower most days. I don't if I get up too late or I'm not going out and can't be bothered.

I selected ''every 3-4 days'', although sometimes it's every 2 days. I don't really follow a routine with having baths, I just have one several nights a week, the days are very random every week.

I bathe every other day. When I've had a job or school, I bathed every day. It's a pretty strict part of my routine, for good reasons. I actually enjoy hot baths quite a bit as well, although I do not love being wet. Showers are kind of mixed. I usually dislike them a lot (I hate the feeling of the water hitting me like that) but if I have a removable head I can handle it better because I can control where the water's going and where it hits me. I got kind of acclimated to them when I was living in a house that had no bath, just a shower stall and enough hot water to run a shower for a good two hours (I never took two hour showers though). Plus, it had the removable shower head, so I could do as above.

Water is generally not all that bad for me, though. I also occasionally have issues with itching (allergies) and discovered that running hot water (not hot enough to burn) on the itch actually makes it go away for several hours. Showers are generally better for this than baths.

I didn't fully catch on to bathing regularly until my late teens. I didn't really "get it" before then, and it actually cost me my first roommates (although all things considered, that wasn't much of a loss).

Every day. Difficult due to sensory issues and not being able to do these things "intuitively" (executive dysfunction?) but whatever. The feeling of being clean is rewarding and makes up for the trouble.

My answer isn't in the polls. I bathe every other day. (I brush my teeth and wash my face every day, though.) If I could, I'd go longer without bathing. I LOATHE being wet. It is my biggest sensory issue. I cannot handle the torture of bathing every day. I can just barely deal with every other day. I only get a bath because I have to in order to stay clean. If there were a way to get clean without water, believe me, I would do so! Another plus to not bathing every day is that you don't scrub off the GOOD bacteria that live on your skin and prevent pathogens from taking empty spots. I used to get sick all the time as a kid. My mother agreed that I could go from bathing every day to every other day when I was around 17. Ever since then, I don't get sick much, and having recently learned about overly frequent bathing destroying healthy bacteria, I believe this is the reason.

I showered twice everyday for a while (why isn't that an option?) In the morning and after wrestling practice. I was soaked with sweat and didn't want to get ringworm

This is why I bathe without soap. My skin is much softer and moisturized.
