Just the rectangular, thick-framed glasses say "Emo" to me.

Around here it means something a little different, more like classy than stuck up......but whatever.

They are stylish and certainly look classy, but I tend to find the heavier frames a bit annoying as they form blind spot. I am very easily distracted by those things like a bug crawling in the car wind shield/screen and I have to pull over to the side of the road to swat it. But black is far less distracting than any other color IMHO such as red or blue. I have black metal rim glasses for that reason.
One major issue is the eyelashes rub on the insides of the lenses and tickle and annoy me no end so I have to wear them a bit further down my nose.

You should upload a second picture taken from the front. I'm guessing you chose that angle because it shows the glasses the most, but what's more important is how the affect the perception of your face. For example, if you wear glasses that are too wide for you, they make your head look skinny (most likely not true in this case - but I can't see)

National Health Service, where my glasses are from.

Translation, free or cheap.
