on flirting: yup, i'm another female aspie who's always flirting. i'm usually aware of it though.
i think that NT women might be attracted to aspie men because of the way they've been portrayed in the media. namely, intelligent, quirky and unattainable. a lot of women are attracted to unattainable men. maybe they like a challenge? whether they'll be happy with the guy is another issue.
as an aspie woman, i'd say i'm likely to be more attracted to an aspie man. it's more like having a feature that you like. like say, a person is really interesting and happens to have green eyes, which you love. the benefit of dating an aspie, of course, is not having to explain yourself as much.
i've never been in a real relationship and i kinda dread the thought of starting one with an NT guy and having to have the talk (about AS). even if i was really up front and we started dating, he might not be able to handle me being me later down the line.
this is also possible with an aspie guy but i figure that aspie men are more aware of what aspie people in general are like!
