When they taught us basic words like cat and dog etc in first grade not only did i learn right away i began reading all the non fiction books and began expressing scientific terminology by the end of the year.As the class wasted their time reading books like cat in the hat and bernstein bears I read encyclopedias and scientific books pertaining to dinosaurs reptiles volcanoes and astronomy. By jr high I was at a college level reading level and in highschool I realized I am able to pick up languages pretty quickly I took french for one semester and was able to converse in French almost fluently unfortunatly as my family moves al lot and over the years i kind of forget a bit of it. I did realize more recently i am able to pick up foreign languages at an alarming rate I took Mandarin for one quarter and am able to fully converse in Mandarin and have no foreigner accent.
