If you believe in bigfoot like I do, it is said it is two humanoid species cross mating.

Two different species can mate, but the offspring can't hold a stable population. For example, lions can breed with tigers, but the offspring is sterile due to the chromosomes.

I had to google it. Mad props on the obscure nature of your reference:) I'm impressed.

Lol, I too had to google it. Well done.

Thanx it's a great show if you ever want to watch it. I think we are much like certain vessan, like the blutbot, but not like born evil vessan.

I tried looking this up, but I ended up back at the forum.

a class of individuals having some common characteristics or qualities; distinct sort or kind.

Biology . the major subdivision of a genus or subgenus, regarded as the basic category of biological classification, composed of related individuals that resemble one another, are able to breed among themselves, but are not able to breed with members of another species.

Individuals with an ASD meet 1, but don't meet 2.

Therefore, not a separate "species."

Species are defined botanically by lines of inheritance, and by their ability to reproduce with one another. Aspergians and NT both share the same ancestors and are able to reproduce with each other. There isn't even any ambiguity with things like ring species. Aspergians are therefore homo sapien.

No, 1 does not work as I stated their is no line behind autistic and nonautistic. If you really want to be a bigot you might be able to argue that people with Downs are a different species, but there is no possible way to argue that autistic people are a separate species.

No wonder I couldn't find it, it's Vessen, not Vessan.

I thought you could tell by our eyebeams, telekinetic abilities, and extendable claws. :P

and I thought that was just me :?

I'm not even sure I could class 100% of homo sapiens as homo sapiens (have you been to an 18-30 holiday) after that the 'human' definition becomes a little shaky.

P.S. Not talking about Neanderthal DNA present.

I loved some of the answers you guys gave!

I'm going with the Homo Superior. I'm NT, so I have to resort to accidents with lightning strikes, radiation and vats of chemicals to catch up to you

What if Aspies evolve on a seperate course from NT's? Perhaps we will evolve into a new species as time goes on. Superheroes. Lonely, angsty superheroes.

I think so too. In the old days people used to call us changelings, so in some ways we kind of are. I really like mythology and creatures of lore so this is facinating for me, but in reality it sucked because it was just another way for people to dehumanize folks on the spectrum.

Also, Grimm is a great show -I'm behind on a few episodes, though.
