InThisTogether, yes, my son finds writing laboriously difficult too, he's just in a rush to finish a sentence as soon as possible, but he will spend all evening drawing, even fine detail is no problem for him.

I have dysgraphia. I have a laptop for university work, and I have a note-taker for my lectures as not only can I not handwrite, I also cannot type and listen at the same time. Also I have speech-to-text software for essay writing. Very useful.
