Any flip-flops or sandals with the toe-post hurts the skin between my toes. Ones without, and just with the thing going across your foot are okay, but I can't walk any distance wearing them outside; I just keep tripping and walking out of them.
I don't really wear any kind of shoes outside except trainers and the like. I love my high-top Converse. The best shoes that exist, ever have existed, or ever will exist.

I have some great not-between-the-toes flip-flops which I've had for 6 and a half years and they are the comfyest thing ever. I can walk miles in them! They're Merrell ones. I haven't been able to find anything like them since though, which is a pain because they'll start to fall apart soon!
