I can't do any of that sh*t. Can you understand my jealousy a little bit more?
But what can you do? I guarantee there's something about you, physically, mentally, a skill or ability or sensory perception thing or... that at least one person in your life is jealous of. It may be something you'd completely overlook or minimize and think is no big deal, not acknowledging for a second that it's perceived by others as something to be envious of. And there may even be something you're particularly good at that you simply haven't discovered & exploited yet. You don't know what you don't know, nor do you have any idea what other people think of you or what the future holds.
That simply isn't true. Everyone does not have something someone else envies them. Those of us who are not good looking (even born with a birth defect), not physically fit, not musically inclined, clumsy close to dyspraxia, learning disabilities in maths and sciences, not good with using our hands at all, not even good at our interests. I read but there are far faster readers out there than me (and I can only stomach books I'm interested in), I play video games but I'm only into games that naturally comes without high scores and competition (Pokemon, Harvest Moon, Rune factory). I can't even do any completely ridiculous valueless stunts that could cause envy.
Like that book title: "Nothing to envy" here. You have to realise that the rosy tinted view that everyone has/can do something special simply isn't true. Unlike OP I'm not beating myself up over it, but I am aware of it. I'm not really jealous of people who have savants skills, I just wish I did too.
