Anomaly.
Thanks for explaining the silences, that helps, I thought I was being weird but I'm glad to know that I'm not.
I think I will go back to isolation mode, you raised a salient point that isolation brings me creative and new theories.
I'm studying to get into conducting research.

Therapists were probably too busy asking you how you felt and to talk about your feelings, then reassuring you that you were A-OK, that they were A-OK, and that eberryone was A-OK.
Yeah, there was definitely a lot of that. And not so much serious analysis.
She also spent time trying to convince me I was experiencing emotions that I was not experiencing. While I do think there are emotions I experienced without being aware of them, generalizing that to everything was a step too far.

In my opinion, it is moar moar moar useful to analyze eberryday problem like math/science/code/lab problem, figure out source of problem, and think about what can be done about problem.
That generally works better for me.
There was one point she was trying to explain to me that I should just accept what is, and said my desire to know "why" was irrational. And when she said that, I asked "but why is it irrational" and she changed the subject. I think I've had about as much professional help as I can for depression, but I can't find anyone who gets autism.
What happens when I try to do something new is that I often get confused, and do not properly understands the steps taken to get it done. Over time I can learn the steps if I have them laid out in such a way that they are visible (not verbally given) and I can do them myself. One problem I had with a math teacher was that he'd explain a problem and then expect everyone to do it. I couldn't remember what he said to do because I was not actually doing the problem along with him and he explained too quickly for me to do so.
I can do this on my own - I've managed it with preparing some food (get confused, experience frustration, consciously stop, consciously separate the task into individual steps, do each step in order, and prepare the food) and other things.
One of my solutions (especially with food) is to find the path of least resistance to avoid running into these obstacles.
