Same with me. My parents tell me i barely cried and was very easy to handle. With an older sister, she was pretty scared that i was unhealthy or something.

My son, now ten, was a great baby. Very easy going, very happy, and until about 15 months, was a tease with any waitresses when we went out to dinner. Quite the flirt! He didn't do eye contact very well, and he kind of arched his back somewhat when we would hold him, but otherwise, a really great baby. After 15 months, though, he began to get really quiet. He acquired speech, but it was slow in coming (he didn't speak slowly, he just didn't acquire that many words), and by the time he was two we could see that he didn't relate to us or other people the way most kids do. It was a very obvious line of demarcation between what he was prior to 15 months, and after 15 months. And it had nothing to do with an MMR shot, because I inadvertently forgot to get him one (we moved right when he was around 15 months, and I thought I had gotten the MMR shot for him when I actually hadn't).

I started talking when I was 4 months old and walking when I was 5 months old.

It's interesting how many of us were quiet babies, me too, and my brother, too. A few of us seemed like screamers, though, and that's pretty extreme too, in the opposite way. :D

All I know about was that I had seizures until the age of 2, which caused me to walk and talk late. That's the only thing my parents really told me about when I was a baby, so I have no idea if I cried all the time or was very quiet.

Ditto. My grandfather loved taking me places because I wasn't as fussy as other babies, and apparently, the easiest way to put me to sleep was to strap me in the pickup and drive around the block a couple times.

I was quiet according to mum. She said I didnt even cry when I was born. I didnt need a spank from the doctor, I started breathing on my own, and usually babies cry, which is what causes them to breath for the first time.

I was a quiet kid, I remember that. My throat would be dry from not having uttered a sound in hours or maybe all day.

My mom said I was a colic baby

Me too, and it's weird, because if I remember what my mom said correctly, once I began speaking, I was already talking in context, and saying multiple words at a time. My first words were 2 or 3 words together.

I was a difficult birth (I put my arm up by the side of my head!) but it was all plain sailing from there. I didn't cry much, I was potty-trained in a few days and I never wanted a dummy (pacifier I think for americans). I remember my brothers and sister having to be bribed for their dummies and my sister having tantrums about her horrible toy bunny but all I wanted was to put my hand under the slip of the pillow case. :-) I always assumed I was quiet because my siblings are so bleeding loud but I guess it must have been my AS.

i used to be very quiet as a baby, my mother says that i never cried.

what surprises me a lot is that i used to be very cute as a baby, so cute that i still don't belive its my photo's that they show me, may be somehow i was misplaced somewhere.

I don't remember much from when i was a baby, but my parents described me as, well, fearless was the word they used, they were on first name terms with the staff in Casualty.

I was definitely curious as a child, hence all the injuries, and i believe i started using language and full sentences earlier than usual.

When I woke up in the middle of the night, I didn't cry, I just talked to myself and played with my toes.

Truth is, I don't know how I was as a baby because my parents haven't shared anything with me like that. I know I read my first word at age three but little more... I hope I was normal. :?
