I'm not surprised that most people are either INFJ or INFP

Also the study done recently that proves Aspies are more left brained than autistic folk AND neurotypicals.

It's been close to 20 years since I did a Myers-Briggs, and I don't think the girls are going to cooperate while I do one now, but it runs in my mind I was either INTJ or INSP. It was whichever one are described as "spirit" people. Pretty sure that was INSP. That sounds right.

I'd say the common thread, in the majority of Aspies, would be "I".

I'm so evil. I went ahead and did it-- not as long as I remember-- and this time came up with ISTJ

I agree with everything except the "thinking over feeling" part. I would still rather think it out than act on feelings. I'm an Aspie, for cryin' out loud. I've just gotten old enough to realize that people, mostly, act based on feelings and that one must do as the Romans do when in Rome (and to run up against "analysis paralysis" being easily capable of shutting my life down-- there's too much going on to think, in detail, about every little thing, so sometimes I just have to wing it).

I don't know. I've done the test twice and I can't remember the score.

Not quite. First, studies rarely prove anything, just suggest things. Secondly, your conclusion is inaccurate. The study showed two things: both auties and aspies have weaker connections in one region of the left hemisphere, and secondly the aspies have stronger connection between other regions of the left hemisphere. That does not translate to "aspies are more left brained".

yeah i know it was just really late and i wanted to simplify it. however from my observation we are more left brained because ive noticed how my aspie friends and i always try to logically and verbally explain everything that exists and refuse to leave it up to our wishy washy right brain. Aspies are very good at logic and I think this is something that should be admired.

All management-level city employees are required to take it at the beginning of management training. I was an ISFP. The I was 30 (maximum possible score) but their was only weal dominace on the other scores.

Yikes! I just checked over everyone else's response after posting and seem to be the only ISFP. As I recall, I was the only ISFP in my management cohort as well. To find out that I stick out from the crowd even on Wrong Planet is a bit alarming

It seems that there are trends that can be identified as "more likely Aspie" (a lot of INTx and INFx on this forum) but it doesn't exclude any other type. I'll bet there are even ENTJs who are Aspie. It is possible at least theoretically. It's a spectrum.

How can an Aspie be an F? Well, I'm a feeler -- I feel almost too much -- but this feeling is like the inner impulse that gives drive to my thoughts. My thoughts themselves are not irrational; they're just powered by an emotive drive. So I'm not irrational at all. My thought-sandwiches are merely upside down on my plate to those who are Ts!

And what about Es? Well, I love people (in small doses). I just had to learn the hard way (and through imitation of others) how to interact with them. So I actually am just barely an I. But it doesn't make me any less Aspergers.
