Thats an easy one. My dogs! The sensation of them curled up next to me when going to sleep or taking a nap is extremely comforting.

Me too! I love my dog. I also love corduroy pants (I wear them regularly because nothing else beats their comfort) and rubbing/twirling my hair.

I love to be under a nice, heavy blanket. I didn't even know this was something folks with Asperger's found comforting. As a kid, I could say under a heavy blanket for hours, not to mention sleep under one. Probably got dehydrated from being too hot, but it gave me comfort.

In addition to that, I love to fondle my iPad and iPhone. That glass surround with the beveled edges just needs to be touched and caressed throughout the day like an illicit lover.

1. My Akubra hat.

I picked it up brand new at an op-shop for $5 (they retail for between $150 - $200 each). It keeps the sun off and is made of real rabbit felt (not that fake sh**)...it goes back to its original shape no matter how much I will sit there bending it and playing with it (and I often do).

2. Chandrika Ayurvedic Soap (from India).

I just love...LOVE the smell of this stuff...it's like 'catnip' for me...so clean, fresh...exotic and the aroma lasts for ages. Strap a piece below my nose forever? yes please!

You too eh?

3. My niece's cat - Domestic Long Hair (but she does make me sneeze).

4. My iPod playing Heavy Metal (of course). lol

1. My car stereo. I play music loudly and sing along so loud I'm basically screaming, haha. Unless I'm feeling overloaded and stressed... then I have to turn the volume down, and the bass down to negative 5.

2. My fingernails. I used to bite my nails, and I managed to quit (pretty much a miracle for an autistic, IMO) so now I have long nails that are SO much fun. I clean under my nails with my other nails. But, even better... but kind of gross... I scritch at my scalp until I've worked up a bunch of soft dead skin powder under my nails, scrape it all out, and then roll it into a ball between my fingers... I KNOW I'm not the only one who's thought of this, because I had a TA in my immunology class that I saw doing this while I met with him after class to talk about the homework one day

3. My cat. Her fur is SO soft, and she's so cuddly and friendly. I love to just bury my face in her belly. So cozy :3

4. My boyfriend. He likes deep-pressure stimming in the same ways that I do (he's NT, but there's some nice overlaps here, surprisingly!). We like to press our feet together and push as hard as we can, haha. He's also great at super intense compression hugs when I need to be crushed.

I wish I had a weighted blanket :"( sigh. Some day!
