I drive, and I fly. I'm an excellent driver, though I prefer to ride my bike than drive - in fact I'll hop on the bicycle and ride seven miles to the airport FBO to go fly.

I will use the car when I go on longer trips, the weather is REALLY bad, I need to haul stuff that does not fit on the bike (a weeks worth of groceries fits on the bike just fine), or I need give rides to people. A few scares, but no accidents - these days most are caused by other drivers cutting me off, merging into my lane, etc.

I am 24 and still have a drivers permit, I don't really drive at all. I feel like I could drive ok on long roads without many stop lights or much traffic...but driving around in the denver area where I live would be hard and I think I would get too stressed out not to mention if I get to stressed out I might space out and then I could end up in an accident. Much of the time I take the bus places but sometimes I get rides.

I have been driving since I turned 16. My first car (and the one I took my driver's test in) was a 1977 Mustang with a modified V8 race car engine (the former owner used it for racing). Although it was raced, it was babied and was in great shape. I later got other cars and kept the Mustang in the garage. Today, my first car still sits in the garage looking nearly as it did when it was new. It has 65,000 miles on it after 37 years.

I've been driving since I was 17.
Recently a certain asshat OC sherrif suggested to me that because bright lights hurt my eyes that I shouldn't be allowed to drive.
Ableist POS.

It's my choice.
I'm willing to deal with the pain and not let it distract me from what i'm doing.
It's not like I don't have to deal with the pain daily from the sun & bright lights at night.

It's just that I prefer to avoid it if at all possible, and so I asked if I could move a bit so their stupid floodlight would stop shining in the corner of my eye, giving me a headache.

NTs are bad, but their overweight paramilitary thugs, otherwise known as the police, are the worst of the bunch imho.

No, I don't, and probably never will, unless I can find a way to not get angry while doing so. I would get so stressed out while "practice driving" with my dad by all the other drivers on the road that I would literally see red and contemplate leaping out of the car, yanking a stop sign out of the ground and beating the driver who was giving me a hard time (not his/her car, just the driver) to death with it...and not having any remorse, because he/she was doing something to provoke me and get us all killed. So, yeah....I don't drive, and probably never will.
