I might be able to finally afford to travel when I get my pension in a few years.

Eventually I want to sell my home and just travel in a motor home. Just be a hobo so to speak. :)

I wish I knew. I want KoR to come, but she has 2 caretakers too. How can we work that? I'm going to figure out where the exact middle of America is (not that that will help her).

You beat me to it dude!

Kansas could be kind of interesting if you think about it being the middle of america and where Dorothy comes from (maybe that's why she came from there).

From what I remember of it is very flat and boring. No offense to Kansas but I don't remember anything remarkable about it. Not that Ohio is anything to write home about.

Do you people want to look at Kansas or do you want to enjoy me? Haha. I can make Kansas worthwhile! Or we could find a cooler place. I'm serious though.

I'm game. I've seen Kansas so don't need to look at it again. Somehow I get the feeling it would be very worth while. :D

my mother was in Kansas long enough to determine it is too damned hot there and the people were cold to her because she was Japanese.

How about CHicago? It seems kind of middleish and easy to get to by plane. Lots of stuff to do there.

I don't think the cats would like being in a strange place. if I were a cat I'd be stressed out by it. cats like sameness and predictability. if you had your meetup at evergreen state college in Olympia Washington, I'd be there in an hour.

Pancho likes adventure, I forget other cats don't'. But you are right. Still, whoever thinks their cat can halndle it can bring them.

But what do you think of Chicago?
