I've met some pretty quick-thinking aspies, so I am guessing that the SCT is basically the "inattentive subtype" part of ADHD that some of us have as a comorbid.

Actually, I believe about 50% of people meeting criteria for inattentive ADHD have high SCT traits. The other 50% are more like ADHD-combined, just light on the hyperactivity.

Certainly applies to me!

I know a guy who used to take over the counter "brain pep" pills who sounds like that. Dont know if he daydreams, but despite his normal IQ he is just "slow".Just runs at a lower RPM than I or most folks.

Low performance IQ is actually characteristics of Asperger's.

I think I fit in SCT pretty well. I'm too much out of the thinker with very clear sluggishness. I walk slowly, very slowly, never wanted to run as a child, but I also talk pretty fast. I'm somewhat thought inspiring kind of person. I find physically active way of living distasteful. I'm not meticulous except when it comes to theories I find interesting. I'm quite a slob.
