Well, South Korea has one of the higher reliably established rates, so unless you can show how the Koreans are actually of Viking descent I would have to say your theory is incorrect.

I was holding my breath waiting to see how long before somebody kindly busted that ridiculous myth.

Not really, and I don't think Germans or Scandinavians are in anyway autistic in how they behave. Considering it was an Austrian who identified AS in children, which must mean that high-functioning autistic people stand out amongst those stereotypically cold, Teutonic folk.

I also think the coldness of Scandinavians and Germans is greatly exaggerated.

ASD correlates with affluism. Not because of over diagnosis in that sector that can afford to diagnose their kids, but when they randomly gave kids diagnostic tests the rich kids had more autism.

I think over-diagnosis of kids from affluent backgrounds is probably much more likely.

People who are higher paid tend to wait longer to have children. Autism correlates with age of first birth.

Also, "more affluent" people increasingly means people who are perhaps more likely to have sub-clinical autistic traits, particularly physicists, engineers and computer scientists.

I don't think any sensible person thinks that autism is caused by your bank account, but there are a few reasons why there could be good correlations.
