No, but I have a representative payee. I'm not exactly sure what legal guardians do, but I wouldn't be opposed to having my mom as one if it would make my life easier somehow or make it easier for her to care for me. The thought of me being totally able to care for myself now or in the near future is pretty lol-worthy. I'm working on it, but it'll likely be a long process. I don't know if I'd ever be able to live totally independently. I don't know if I'd even want to.

Im 22 with ASD and never received guardianship, can people relate to me?

I lived with my parents till I moved in with my girlfriend at 29 but my parents never went through the process to get guardianship of me as an adult.

I'm not, though I often wonder how I would do on my own (I'm 30 and I've never lived alone, always with help and support). I don't think my brother could live on his own, or at least not for very long. I never thought about a legal guardianship though.
