I perceive 95% of theories that concern NTs as user-personal theory rather than realism as they almost always spawn from negative emotion, rather than evidence or fact.

Autism is frequently referred to as an 'invisible' disability, yet this forum parades the NT label to disgrace the specific population of people. Statements are recycled, for example: NTs are belligerent, NTs are illogical, NTs cannot be geniuses, NTs are the ones with zero empathy. It is blind-sighted hypocrisy, as the autistic equivalent is unacceptable even without considering political value; an NT perception, for example, that all autistics are Rain Man or persistent excuse-makers is entirely incorrect and depicts ignorance in its finest form.

Why must there be an imaginary neurological war?

There is no war that I see. Amongst any group, there's bound to be a little of "Us" Vs "Others" - that is normal.

True, quite a few posts here are not cold, trenchant analyses but merely some person venting. But I don't see any problem that. A lot of ASDers on here have come from a place of pain and hurt and if they can't vent here where else can they go?

As long as someone's is not actively inciting or advocating violence against NTs, I don't feel it's prudent to muzzle their voice..

Wrong Planet is a forum with a large minority population, that population being people on the autism spectrum. Human society as we know it was predominantly made by NTs for NTs, and since we're in the minority, naturally some of use are going to complain. I don't think there's anything inherently wrong with NTs, though it is tough to be a part of a minority population, especially since the majority doesn't have to deal with a lot of the problems we deal with. This is kind of compounded by the fact that autism is an "invisible" condition, and that having it is not as obvious to an outside observer as being a limb amputee, for instance.

It is not ok to muzzle people who advocate not stereotyping groups of people. I do it because it's the right thing morally. I do it because I feel in the long term it will be harmful to the person doing it and because hate spreads it is harmful to the community. The feelings of NT's do not enter into it.

I am for venting. As the song says Let It Go scream, yell, cry smash up a few things, have the most awesome stim ever but channel that anger to where it where it belongs, the people and institutions that harmed you.
