I am able to spot errors in architecture/art/music in an instant, and to discern the subtlest of parts. This is good. Often I can get a glimpse of the whole of something by examining a single part. This is good, too. I've been like this since I was very little: highly sensate and highly intuitive.
BUT, when I am trying to write a paper, or music, or whatever, I get stuck on every detail, and it clogs up the works like a heart attack. This is bad. In daily life and tasks I always get unfocused by little things. This is also bad. I end up completely, frozen, frustrated, and all I know how to do to relieve the pain is to sleep.
It's just horribly painful.
