The only person who can do it without being immediately slapped is my mate. I consider this form of touching extremely personal. It's like being sexually assaulted.

I would think he would be smart enough to not post his picture if he did or was going to kill someone. Therefore I really dont think anything was meant by it.

You or I do not know the thoughts and intent of this post. It is seen how we see it and we obviously have two different interpretations of the intent behind the post. What would hold up in court if this was to be used as evidence for a crime?

The gun was not pointed at any specific individual, it was simply displayed as a joke. Besides how do you
know that that gun is even real?

Yes, I agree that it would be rather unintelligent to post a pic like that of yourself...however, it is becoming alarmingly more and more common. People are NOT being sensible and are NOT using common sense and ARE posting photos and far too much information about themselves on the internet.

I agree to disagree with you on this matter of intent of the post.

When I lived in Washington my roomates had guns and they waved em around and did all sorts of crazy stuff with them, but it was all for show, they didnt even have ammunition lol. They just thought they looked cool so they had fun with them. They have pics of it all over their myspaces too, and I doubt anyone felt threatened by it. I guess some people are just a bit more sensative about it than others.. Personally I just think its best to be more layed back about stuff when theres no actual threat involved and not be so serious about everything, ya know?

Accidents don't happen....they are caused!

I have worked with young people for years and have attended many funerals of them as well. Joking and mucking around with guns is not sensible and I can guarantee the friends and family of the deseased young person can atest to this as well.

"All's well and good until someone loses and eye" - a laughable and light hearted quote....but very true indeed.

I am light hearted and see the funny side of most things....except guns.

Gun laws are there for reasons...
Look at the USA and the number of devestations in schools...
Look at the USA, England & Australia etc and its stance on terrorism...

Yes, this topic infuriates me and WE have a right to be sensible and NOT send mixed or confusing messages to young people.

I do have a motto that I live by..."Don't take life so seriously, It isn't permanent"

However I do also believe that WE HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY to ensure our own safety and the safety of others.

I will not engage in any further debate on this issue. People can read my views on this matter. We all have a right to an opinion and we have a right to our beliefs. We do not have a right to squash someone elses opinions or beliefs. I have agreed to disagree with you on this topic and have therefore not squashed your opinion or beliefs. We all have a responsibility to accept others and their differences. We also have a responsibility to be decent role models for others, especially the young. We ARE role models for others even if you do not want to be. Others see us every day and that in itself makes us a role model and a leader.

I didnt mean to make you feel like I was squashing your belief, just expanding my own. The incidents of the school shootings was completely due to the state of minds that the people behind the trigger, not because they had easy access to guns. Its ok to have guns, but you have to be responsible and not psychotic.. Its like sex. Theres nothing wrong with it, and its potentially dangerous, but you have to be responsible with it. If you have enough controll to not cause an accident mindlessly or on purpose then accidents happen on their own.

absolutly its cool to enjoy life, but be responsible and use your brian. Safety First!

When I was little I was very tickelish, but i enjoyed it and my parents were the only ones to do it.

A few years ago (and this thread caused me to think about this for the first time ever) i started doing a thing where (and i dont tell ppl this IRL) i started very lightly tickeling myself on my forarms, face and feet, i never really thought about why and only within the past few years can recall doing it every night, well sence i moved into my own place where i live alone, hahahaha, maby i said too much  , i have no idea why i do this, between that and rocking in bed at night are my only stims.

I'm very ticklish and I don't mind a little tickling. I hate that I'm so ticklish that my wife tickles me on accident. I wish I could pretend it didn't affect me, but I'm too ticklish.

Poor sheol has trouble with my ticklishness. He'll try to be romantic and rub my back or something, and then he'll hit a ticklish spot and I'll curl up giggling. He's learnt not to tickle me on purpose, though. If I can't escape I panic and fight - he's got a few bruises that way in the past.

For me, Tickling would have to be the worst form of so called "friendly" physical force ever invented.
My Mothers ex partner used to tickle me when I was about 7 years old and I would literally start crying because I hated it so much. I still do hate it.
