To those diagnosed later in life: aware of sensory issues?
i was diagnosed as a young child, i don't know better or i was diagnosed already.
however, i indeed did not realise that i had sensory issues. as mentioned before, i just assumed that everyone heared the buzzing of power sockets and saw the flickering of fluorescent tubes (among other things).
it is only recently (the last 5-ish years) that i have come to realise that these are not normal, and are actually seen as 'superpowers' by some.
