Here in New Zealand it is 10.30am on the morning after Christmas Day, which is "Boxing Day" here - named after the tradition in the 19th century of boxing up the leftover food of the well-off families to give to the poor on that day. Now it is used as a festival of shopping, sales start and there is pandemonium... you can safely bet I won't be part of it!

Hope your Christmas Days in the north are going well, the reindeer don't have so far to fly to your countries, they must hate the long haul flight to New Zealand, and curse all the way (Jesus, who the hell put this on the agenda)

Rudolph spotted a stranger
Way down below in the street
His clothes were almost ragged
Mere rags were on his feet
Hey fellas the leading reindeer said
We need to make a dive
Lets pick up this friendless one
And take him for a ride
They flew him to the tops of trees
To rivers, mountains, lakes
Around the city places
Even up the Empire State
They dropped him off in Central Park
with a bounty of good things
To give to any wanderer there
Who was out of touch with love
They hovered for a little while
To see the joy he spread
Then sped away into the night
Smiling as they went.

I'm no good at graphics so I wrote a Christmas poem instead.
