Here in New Zealand it is 10.30am on the morning after Christmas Day, which is "Boxing Day" here - named after the tradition in the 19th century of boxing up the leftover food of the well-off families to give to the poor on that day. Now it is used as a festival of shopping, sales start and there is pandemonium... you can safely bet I won't be part of it!
Hope your Christmas Days in the north are going well, the reindeer don't have so far to fly to your countries, they must hate the long haul flight to New Zealand, and curse all the way (Jesus, who the hell put this on the agenda)
