I'm 5'6. My biological father is about 5'11-6'0 I think. I haven't seen him for about 3 years.

Oh. Were you a "late-bloomer"?

Puberty-wise, I was about average. Maybe a little late starting--but I "finished" at about the normal age.

I'm just short.

Okay. Of course you finish at a normal age, unless you have some disorder that affects your development. The normal age is 18, when you become an adult and fully developed.

178 cm = 5 ft 10. Kinda short IMO, cause when I'm going downtown everyone seems to be taller.
Might just be selective perception... or not? 8O

/e: I'm taller than my dad.

I'm 6'2" and the tallest in my immediate family. My dad is about 5'11" and most of my family is around that height or a couple of inches taller so I really stand out there.

I'm 5'7" (about 170 cm's I think). My dad is 5'11" and my birth mum (died young) was only 5'2".
My sister (different mum) is about 5'6" but built even heavier than me. Her older half brother (different dad) is about 5'9".
FWIW, my spouse is 5'8". Our ASD kid is like barely 5 feet with his sneakers on (only reaches my nose), and I'm pretty sure he's finished growing vertically.
I remember notches on a bathroom door moulding at the house I spent my teen years in stopping at the 5'7" level when I was about 15 or 16. I was definatly not a milk drinker (made me sick), but I did enjoy lots of tender meats (and still do).
I don't think I have any male cousins that are very tall (meaning 5'10" or over).

I was a big-time milk drinker, yet grew to only 5 foot 4.75 inches.

If I didn't have such a big head, I'd be about 5 foot 3. It's the head that gets me closer to 5 foot 5.
