I used to be very quick to judge, very rigid. Then I experienced a lot of things, travelled a lot and talked to a lot of people about their lives.

I became extremely aware that there is a lot I don't know about other people.

I need to make quick judgements to go through days without mental breakdown, though. I am extremely picky about which people I spend my energy on.

I consider myself pretty open minded and tolerant. Its kinda an ironic twist though considering I come from a religious family.

I have a very narrow set it interests, so inherently I'm not open-minded to anything outside of that narrow scope.

As a matter of fact I often tell people to stop speaking because I'm not interested in that thing they want to tell me. I know I come across as an awful person when I do that.

I'm open-minded and tolerant, I believe, for the most part.

I do have certain strong opinions--but they are subject to change should evidence to the contrary (i.e., to my opinion) reveal itself.

I don't tend to lambaste people merely because their opinion is different from mine. I don't argue religion, because I realize these sorts of beliefs are primarily based on "faith," rather than on something concrete and tangible (even though it might feel concrete and tangible to the believer). There is no indisputable evidence that there are Supreme Beings. And there is no indisputable evidence there are NO Supreme Beings.

I don't really like extremes in anything. Especially people who, say, adhere to a Nazi ideology.

I hover between open minded and intolerant, and closed-minded and tolerant.

I feel like it kind of depends on the situation, but I voted for the second one.

I am very tolerant and openminded. I accept people and any decisions they might make as well as their opposing opinions and beliefs. I am open minded to all advancements in every area in life and I adapt to my surroundings as if I were water.

Judgemental and openminded. I can be juuuust a little to quick to judge, but mostly I soon find out and change my view to the broader, more accepting. Sometimes I am uncritically openminded aonly to find out, that there is reason to draw some sharp lines.

I picked Judgemental and open minded but thats only the closest one to pick.

I am by my nature judgmental and closed-minded, i am very quick to judge and very rigid in my thinking. But i almost admire people who are truly tolerant & open minded. For me it is a conscious decision that i want to be this way. Often when i find myself in these narrow thinking patterns i need to activly "open up" my mind by thinking "stop, this is not how i want to be". Its not easy. Funny thing is, the few people who know me consider me open minded by default because many things i believe in are different to what society believes in. Still, i really have to work on me to be tolerant & open minded...

Peace
TK

I am not really sure if I am Close-Minded or Open-Minded. I am willing to entertain all sorts of different possibilities as being possible but I do not necessarily identify those said things as being necessarily the reality. I am also really surprised that this is an Fnord-created thread but then again nothing should surprise me nowadays. I do not have a real answer that I can identify definitively with so how does everyone else view my Quadrant ?

NTs are more tolerant and less judgemental? WHAT????????????????
Did I read the OP correctly???????

Oh the contradiction that goes on here!

What's next? "NTs are less socially orientated than autistics"?

I shall wait for that topic to come up.

I'm judgemental and open-minded.

I have very strong opinions on many things. I judge people based on their personalities and behaviours. But, I'm open to being proven wrong if someone that I've judged negatively turns out to be a nice person or to have what I'd consider to be a genuine reason for the traits that I dislike.

With topics that I have a strong opinion on, I welcome a good enough argument to sway me and have been known to change my opinion in the past.
