Getting a handicapped card .

...I guess to put this here , that night , Monday , my " handlers " here took me to the hospital/ER that nite (Mon.) , I was in there 3-ish nites , it's late Fri. aft now , apparently , I still have the (rather cruddy/depressing) shelter spot --- I came out a touch rested up , but that's dwindling away , the same problem's here - I suppose the " beaten up " extremes of having had the fluid retention has gone down , but is still there , I am very overweight , despite only having eaten in a hospital for three days straight - I.e. , I am improved from the Monday post , but the basics are still here .

Have you got a diagnosis?

...Nothing new , no .
I guess I officially have pneumonia again , or did , then (3 days/whatever back) .

...I guess it's because of the gained weight that the pants I bought - the others , waiting for me?? at the shelter , somewhat soiled from my digestive problems , turned out to be both too small and too large ~ That , and snot-as-bad what I've got on now , are all the pants I have .
Part of the $200 plus stolen and lost/broken from me .

...When I got back to the shelter , tho I still had the bunk , the clothes , and yoga/homeless mat , and reading matter , I left behind were all gone (Aside from the somewhat bad pants there were okay T-shirts . This comprised a 2nd set of clothing - basic clothing , underneath the jackets I wear on top all the time , 2 shirt/pants sets ~ now only one . The ones I left behind are gone now . They went away while I was in the hospital I have only what I am wearing now , for a full set of clothes .
I have had to go through so much money , for nothing .
So now I think I'll say it's at $250 dollars , $250.00 (or even more) of my stuff stolen and lost-broken during the shelter period , and I have ONLY THE CLOTHES I AM WEARING NOW !

I'm sorry you're losing your stuff. Still, being in a shelter is better than being out in the street.

Have the doctors prescribed you something like Lasix?

...What's Lasix ?
I'm not inclined to take ANY psych meds .
Perhaps the meds/authorities " will not make things nice for me " if I don't do so ?
I STILL! have lost all that money ...........

Lasix is not an antipsychotic. It treats water retention.

...Wile , yes , it's shelter from the rain ~ However , it just seems to be the beginning of the downhill ride to death , with nothing ever having been " gotten " by me .

...Again , $250 of clothes , electronics , etc. is GONE from me .
Stolen and " lost/used up " .

I'm so sorry about everything that's been happening. It probably isn't much, but I did send you a PM about a little bit I could do.

...Yesterday, I did not make it to a computer ~ as I went to the hospital AGAIN , due to a distinctly noticable recurrnce of the " puffy face " swelling . The nurse at the shelter noticed it as well , and mentioned calling the hospital (Perhaps at least in part beause she wanted to get off her shift , but...) It had rather gone doen by the time I made the hospital and was seen by the doctor , and I think he may have been slightly suspicious , but...I really had it .
My minimal stuff was take out of my drawer underneath my bunk so someone else could have it , and again , I have no storage drawer .

...Okay , I'll have to scare up more computer time to post but I am back now from four overnights in the hospital again , briefly , the " welling up " again:-(...

...Alright , I really have to spell this out ~ Last Monday I got sent to the hospital again , my swelling up happening again and more being a reason - I was in four days , but , for one , some males/night shift at the hospital gave me pressure , and I left early .
However , oddly enough , after that , the terrible buldging of my genitatia into like a mini grapefruit greatly reduced , anyway , as if:
(1) Maybe the treatment the hospital gave me wasn't helping me with that , and so it was after I left that the genital swelling began to go down ?
(2) Or is it that it started to have an effect , even as my problems with how the hospital staff treatem had me leave early ?
(3) Or was it even psycological , the swelling going down ?
I have been away from the shelter these last five overnights , since Monday .
Supposedly I will get my bed back , it is waiting for me ~ I hope that that is the case , but , after I leave the library , I'll go back to the shelter and I'll see if that is so , is I still have the bed ...

...I'm still kind of rested up after four days in the hospital , but I do still have the " hard time getting up and bending" thing ~ & last night , having to leave the hospital AMA early , I spent a night homeless in a building enclave in SF Union Square that had lights in it , I did manage to find another , cheap , extra coat to keep myself warm on a very cold night...As I said , I am assumimng that , as I was told , I can return to the shelter bed tonight .
The hospital stay somewhat broke on the rocks of some male nigth staffers being pushy and insistent , for one , and my worrying about my still , really , not seeminto get enough care for my legs & waking to get better .........

...I did get back into the shelter Sat. , but I discovered that YET AGAIN ! , clothing/bedding things of mine that I had left on my bed (which was supposed to be left alone , as the bed was saved for me) - were gone . Things that were my property .
I'll make my description of the value of things I've had stolen or lost/used up in these past weeks up to $300 . That's how much I have lost , in the money's value .
I still am not really recovered , either , am still at only one full set of - what I'm wearing - clothes (Though I can get some now ,I have the money , it's hard to get going and find a place that might have stuff for me , and then , going there , in fact find some) -~ AND , old ones I get ` and new ones too - fall to my digestive/elimination difficulties .
