its so great when the temperature is mild, the humidity is low, and the sun is not harsh. its a rare occurrence. today comes pretty close where i live :P
i do like sunny but i burn easily and sunscreen is smelly, sticky, and wet. bright sunlight is uncomfortable as well, but for me the visual effects of light are the worst in the winter if it's reflecting off snow, although sandy beaches and urban areas with lots of windows, cars, and otherwise shiny materials come close. its also harder for me to process the sensation of being hot as opposed to being cold, even though both conditions are bothersome.

Like Seaweed, I too like the middle way the most. Fluctuations around this gives some nice variation. 8) But, in the case a diabolical power would made me choose between the two extremes for ever, I would opt for cloudy and cold weather. So, I don't mind sunny hot days, as long as it is not too hot and only for a few days or so.

I love the heat as long as I have a place to cool down. Last summer was brutal; my bedroom was over 80 degrees at night. I broke down and bought an ac. I think my new place is going to be much cooler.
