As long as there's HOPE! What doesn't kill you, will defiantly make you stronger. But, where there is DESPAIR! What doesn't kill you, will only make you weaker and take on damage.

That's exactly what I was thinking. All the bad things that have happened in my life, so far has made me a stronger person.

I've wondered this myself. Although I think that resilience is a real thing, there are some difficulties in life that seem to make one weaker. Sometimes you can feel worn out by hardships instead of stronger. I think if in the end one manages to survive those hardships, he or she will be stronger and wiser. If they don't survive those hardships, then, well, they are dead. So in the end the saying still holds true. Plus you might not feel strong per se, but compared to someone else who has had it easy you may be able to handle a lot more.

i just feel that after all I have been through, failing at almost everything on a daily basis, I'm not stronger, i'm weaker and just don't have the confidence, ambition, or even care to try at anything, anymore, i just wish i could just Ghost the world if not for my OCD that rages when I'm home! :x :( :cry:
