No I could not I had to wait intill the doctors said I was no longer a danger and then I could be let out and it was a locked ward so they would have stoped me if I would have left or tryed to at least

Not to make light of your situation, but if I ever found myself admitted, I'd try and escape just to test them. It's one of those you want to because you're not allowed things.

I'm glad you're feeling better.

I relate to this. Every locked ward I've been on had "break glass" fire exits but were obviously alarmed. I kept a knife after dinner once to unscrew the windows, after taking one screw out I knew escape was possible.

Was the therapy of any help or substance? Or was it more rote?

Were the other patients annoying/dangerous or did you get to relax?

Thanks for being open to some genuine questions. Any one of us could be there.

The therapy was good it really helped me it was conagitive behavior therapy
I did get to relax some but some people where annoying
It's my pleasure about the Questions

Thanks Gacrsgrant - glad you're feeling better. I haven't tried CBT before.

My pleasure CBT is very good and helpful and they sent me home with a online CBT program called Living Life To The Fullest and that is Available Online at llttf.com it has been really helpful and it is free
