Should my brother go off his medication in this case?

They know, but they are not sure what to do about it. They still have my bro on the same medication and still seeing the same therapist, but it's been like four years now and how long is it going to take before the medication and therapy is suppose to be finished and he can feel better finally...

How old is your brother? If he is over 18, and is able to make his own choices, I’d strongly recommed seeing a different therapist, as his current therapist doesn’t seem to be doing anything but pushing drugs. (One of the reasons I stopped seeing my psychologist and psychiatrist. I was making little progress with the psychiatrist, but made some headway with the psychologist. Unfortunately, the group practice they’re employed with decided to change their focus to treating addicts. That, and the fact I couldn’t afford the $40.00 copays that were accumulating, and the parent hospital sent them off to collections...)
