the shadow of the reaper, the shadow of the dead
entombs the lifeless
the darkest black is cast
the shadow of the reaper, will take its hand
the shadow of the reaper, the grave now calls to you

in the cemetery
you have been left unburied
the vultures pick at your eyes

the cold grasp, a blood hand
the skeleton it cracks
and its twitching
inside of your body
the brain retreats
the heart beats no longer
in denial
life no longer there
to comfort
to invigorate
to betray you
the rotten now await you
meet the devils keeper
in the shadow of the reaper
the rotten now await you
to invade you

the shadow of the reaper, the shadow of the dead
entombs the lifeless
the darkest black is cast
the shadow of the reaper, will you take it hand
the shadow of the reaper, the grave now calls to you

in the cemetary
you have been left unburied
the vultures pick at your eyes

Some nice, friendly lyrics from Six Feet Under.

This thread took an interesting turn.

I like Frank Sinatra.

To save me LOADS of wasted time, try naming bands that don't cuss. My music is heard throughout most of my house and my little brother is usually within ten feet of me. Please! :P

Think of it this way: the sooner he is desensitised to swearing the less likely he is to swear. This is because theoretically when you are desensitised to something you will be too bored of it to do it.

My week in short:

Went to my Mother's for the weekend - climbed the walls the whole time as always.

Had week off work, so lay in late every day

Stared in blisteringly successful Amdram production of "'Allo 'Allo" - got praised for my "magnificent comic timing" by the local rag's review (though they failed to specifically mention my superb presence and acting ability..... toe-rags )

Spent whole of today in a state of physical and mental exhaustion due both to rigours of said show, total lack of sleep, and to certain other things that have happened today/yesterday (/me smiles enigmatically....) :)

P.S. This now brings me to my post-100 post title.... I'm thinking of "Magnificently comically timed" or somesuch..... (I'm too lazy to start a new thread about it, so consider this 'un hi-jacked)

My week was good, but felt a bit ill yesterday after moshing for nearly and hour to Sepultura and Lamb of God.

Statements by Tom!

My week was ok, I handed in the last of
my uni work, the term is over now.

I spent a lot of time hanging around in my
comic shop. The guy who owns had has
some graphic novels printed, and he knows
Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman, and Will Eisner!
Do you like their books Ghosthunter?

I liked Alan Moores work, I think it was
Swamp Thing? I may be mistaking the
artist and writer. Please refresh my
memory on his last 15 years of work.

Will Eisner, and "The Spirit" 10¢ covers
are a definite. They were 40's -60's era
10¢, 12¢, and Code-avoiding magazine!
This is what I remember of his Spirit work.
I also think he did "Plasticman", and "Police
comics". These are in the 10¢ era.

Bill Sienkowicz and Moon Knight were a match
in heaven.

I remember by character or artist. So please
throw me some titles, and artists.

Sincerely,
Ghosthunter

It's only Monday and not going well so far.

This morning a drunk man came up behind me while I was waiting for a bus and lightly put his arms around me from behind. I leapt into the air in fright and then turned round and had a bit of a yell at him. Then a woman who meant well insisted on trying to talk to me while I just wanted silence. She was being kind, only wanted to make sure I was OK, but I was getting more and more worked up. Have spent the rest of the day twitching, walking into things, and losing concentration which means I have made and had to correct some errors at work. I just want to go home, or at least go off and be by myself for a while - it's nothing of any real consequence besides a bit of drunken strangeness, no harm was done, but it's left me feeling uncomfortable and anxious.

Twitching? Where? In the face? Is this overload or something else?

Hmmmmm? What made it a great week

Whew! That was strange. What did this guy, gal
that was drunk have to say? I really don't know
what to say at this moment.

What kind of work do you do? If that is a friendly
and appropriate question to ask at this particular
time? :?

Sincerely,
