4. They might talk about somebody else, looking for you to talk about that person. Then go back to that person with what you said about him/her.

Stuff like that.

I know what you mean. Luckily, I know almost all my friends from my computer science studies and people weren't like that. It was a very accepting environment. Talking behind other people's backs was seen as a bad habit there. Problem is when you have to be with that kind of people (usually one doesn't have a choice at the workplace) and cannot avoid them.

Those are not true friends what kraftie listed.

Also a true friend would not try and manipulate you and also force you to give them one of your doll outfits or toys or even come to your house just to play with something and then leave when they are done. They also will defend you and stick up for you and not teach you any of the wrong stuff. They also will not tell on you to get you into trouble unless anyone's lives are in danger because you are a killer or a predator or because you were possessing in child porn or because you were doing something dangerous that can cause harm to yourself or others or do property damage. Also a true friend would not have unreasonable demands like expecting you to break a rule on your lease so they can stay with you and a true friend would not take advantage of you or expect you to give them special treatment.

That's it. I'm going to study computer science :D (joking). I might actually though. It seems like you surrounded yourself with good people. I want to do that too.

You should definitely do that, Stampy! :D

I'm thinking I will :D . I have always wanted to work at Mojang (the place where they make Minecraft). The technology field seems to be full of people like me as well. It's either technology or medicine for me. I'm still deciding :D . Thankfully I have a few years lol.

That's bringing back memories of my childhood friends lol. I invited this one girl over once, and all she wanted was my toy school set. She tried to pressure me into giving her it. Luckily she wasn't the only person I had as a friend.

Couldn't really answer as I have no friends.

Sadly I had friends who did all that stuff to me and I was in high school when I found out friends don't tell on each other and it's one of those unwritten rules. Apparently I never had true friends. Hard truth I had to learn from my therapist. :( My mom can live in la la land all she wants saying how I had friends but sorry mom they were not my real ones. They were just there and just because they played with me doesn't make them my true friend. But her excuse is "they were just being kids and they did it to each other, you just took it too literal and were too sensitive" and the peer pressure thing so their reason for not defending me and sticking up for me.

I don't really know. According to this I seem to have scored closer to the average male neurotypical than the female, which is interesting. Maybe that's why I have so many male friends perhaps, well that and I work in a fairly male-dominated area, so yeah. I do have female friends as well though.

Some of the questions were hard, like if I found it difficult to share my emotions... I mean... yes and no, I don't find them hard to share when I know what I'm feeling, but sometimes even I don't know what it is I'm feeling, and I don't just say that because I don't want to open up, it's just sometimes I really don't know.

Although, those that know me well know this, so if I'm acting weird they'll usually ask "Having one of those "I don't know what I'm feeling" moments?" and I'll agree and that's that.

Another question, about what I talk about most with my friends- I was torn between answering "What we have done since the last time we spoke" and "hobbies and interests" because we tend to talk about both a lot. I will say that I find talking about what we've done a tad dull sometimes. We all talk about interests quite a bit though, usually what we've all been working on, usually IT stuff and writing, sometimes music or whatever we find interesting at that time. There's also a lot of inside jokes too.

Sometimes the two categories somewhat intertwine, I have one friend who really likes 3D modelling, and when we talk about what he has done since the last time we spoke, it's usually about his 3D models. So I mean, what category does that fall under?

Likewise, I have another friend who is obsessed with my little pony, I mean I like the show too but my friend is definitely way more into it than I am, and that's saying something. Anyway, when they talk about what they've done, it's usually something my little pony related. Yet again, what category does that fall under?

Although some were easy, like answering if my friends are similar to me, yes they are and that's always been a sort of running joking in my friend group. Sometimes I joke that I'm like the second conscious of one of my friends. :D There are some differences, for instance one friend is more extroverted than me (I would consider myself fairly introverted)- although most of my friends are quite introverted usually, but aside from that there aren't that many differences. Some are into anime and video games more than me, but then again I haven't seen much anime.

I put "Work" for what I am likely to talk with friends and strangers about most because all I talk about with friends is school. I'm not sure what the 3-D Models would fall under- maybe interests? Check out alexithymia. You can have it independent of an ASD, by the way. :D

I have already checked out alexithymia, and although yes- some of it seems to apply, other parts of the description I really don't fit into, for instance the "lack of imagination" part or the "tends to have realistic dreams based in reality" part.

That really doesn't fit me at all, in fact I have something of an over-active imagination, which is why I find watching horror movies difficult, heck I wasn't even allowed out on Halloween when I was younger because my parents would worry that I would let my imagination run a bit too wild. I would say imagination has its pros and cons, a major con being that if I can't sleep I tend to imagine things that aren't exactly pleasant. 8O

A major pro is that it makes me a decent writer, I like writing stories and hope to make some short films one day.

My dreams are often based in an alternative reality, and are usually quite separate from what is actually happening in my life. Often, they are based around stories that I am writing, such as acting out future scenes that I plan to write, or revisiting old ones to see if I can make any improvements to them.

I got it. My dreams are never realistic either. I hope you are able to make some short films someday; that would be cool. So you were never allowed out on Halloween? Were you upset about that?

Yeah, I used to be upset about it. My parents were never really big on the Halloween thing, they told me I was too old for celebrating it when I reached 10 years old. I was never allowed out, I used to hope every year that they would one day let me, but they never did. I used to pretend that I hated Halloween because of my annoyance. Now I'm too old to trick or treat, but hey maybe one day I'll go to a Halloween party or something.

In a way, I used to fear they were right too. I understood their reasoning, they told me their concerns, and I know I got scared easily (still do. :D) but a part of me wanted to prove them wrong and show my friends that I could stomach a bit of fright so I would fit in a bit more. These days I'm more honest about what scares me, and it annoys me that I get scared so easily but it is what it is.

Don't worry. I get scared of really stupid stuff. Halloween seems like a pretty rational fear compared to what I get scared of. I'm sorry you didn't get to go out, though. A Halloween party seems fun :D .

I used to go trick-or-treating as a kid. I like exploring new neighborhoods without my parents present.

I was adventurous in seeking out new places---but I couldn't climb the monkey bars LOL

I always hated the monkey bars.
