I have GERD(Gastroesophageal reflux disease) that I take Pepcid daily for but it doesn't bother my stomach, only my throat. I grew up in Louisiana which is known for cajun cuisine which is spicy & I do like some of that but it never really bothers my stomach unless I eat too fast or too much or something. However I used to have diarrhea sometimes due to panic attacks or bad anxiety before I started taking Buspar for my anxiety. A couple years ago I started experiencing alot of flatulence & some constipation. I have had irregular bowl movements my whole life but my doc thought the flatulence was due to the constipation. I started eating more veggies & take a stool softener every 3 days which has helped the constipation but I sometimes have diarrhea more than I used to. I still have alot of flatulence problems too & not sure why. I haven't made any med changes shortly before they developed & I'm not interested in changing all my meds around one at a time for half a year to find out.
