You're probably really pretty, with nicely-flowing red hair.

I can understand that you don't want to send your picture over the Interwebs.

As you can see, my forehead is really large and broad. My big head makes me 5 foot 4.75: Had I had a "normal"-sized head, I'd probably be about 5 foot 3.

I kind of do. But if that is true then a person from my special interest who has a high forehead who i suspect is on the spectrum has it and now my mind is running wild

It's interesting. I'm going to tally up the numbers, tomorrow, being that I am quite tired, presently, but wanted to thank everyone for contributing.

Goodnight to all.... x o

(and, carry on... : )

Huh, interesting. I'm intrigued to know the results of your study. :-)

I do, in fact, have a high forehead.

How odd, I'm certain I'd posted another reply in this thread last night and now it's nowhere to be found. Alas. I expect it's wandered off and is sitting by itself somewhere, wondering what went wrong.

Kraftie, I didn't know that was your real picture in your avatar - you look like my cardiologist. :)

I suspect you're imagining me as being much prettier than reality, but I confess I don't mind a bit. Pray continue.

The avatar is me in 2009, when I went on an Alaskan cruise.

To sort of quote Dr. McCoy: "I'm a data-entry clerk, not a doctor!" :P

Your words bespeak attractiveness.

All right then, there's me in 2002 - I'd had my hair "done", though, so the usual crazed corkscrew flyaway curls were tamed for the space of about 45 minutes.

You look lovely, with luxuriant hair 8)

And your necklace, I sense, would contain something interesting. Maybe a locket? Maybe a quote from some great personage, or the product of an epic love story?

There's a sort of a Bohemian quality to you.

Yes, a high forehead and a very large, square head.

You're very kind - but please add sixteen years, thirty-one pounds (my cardiologist reminds me frequently), wrinkles and laugh lines, and significant streaks of sugar in the cinnamon hair.

The pendant is an enneagram. I'm not a true believer by any stretch, but it was a gift from a dear friend years ago and I keep it as a reminder that we are all different - and that's okay. It helps me cheer up when I'm feeling morose or inclined to be harsh with myself for not processing as others around me do.

I think Bohemian is a lovely description, but now I've got "O Soave Fanciulla" stuck in my head. :)

on the subject of big foreheads and AS, I read that AS folk have more frontal lobe brainstuff than NTs or ADHD folk. I remember as a kid I had a big head relative to the rest of my body, school pictures made it seem I was a bit of a "Mister Potatohead" in that regard. the effect this extra brainstuff has, is that it could be seen as a sign of insufficient neural pruning in the single digit years, the normal process whereby a developing brain streamlines its neural connections to those which are most efficient, and as a result our brains are relatively "musclebound" which causes or worsens the tendencies towards perseveration, anxiety et all that we are familiar with in ourselves.

Hi Ms. Chess,

I can say, with at least some confidence, that you probably look good at present. And your verbal presentation, inevitably, enhances your looks

If you, all of a sudden, started to abuse drugs/alcohol after 2002, or smoked like a chimney, then the result could be different. I don't find that many people "lose their looks" unless they abuse drugs/alcohol. Or smoke a lot of cigarettes.

The gray streaks in one's hair actually enhances a person. It makes the person seem wiser.

In many people, "laugh lines" are actually appealing. At least you don't have a jowl. My older brother developed a jowl; I hope I don't develop one. He's sort of a cynic; I believe his cynicism caused him to develop that jowl.

I learned something new; I never knew what an "enneagram" was. It's a nice design for a necklace.

Egad! I am in my Vernacular Mode. There is no eloquence in the above.
