I'm worried about my Beloved. She suffered a chronic chemical overexposure at work (she believes intentionally, with malice aforethought). This summer her pulmonary function measured sub-average; unexpected for someone who's physically fit & active and who's never smoked. Her most recent exam showed a measurable decrease in pulmonary function since then. Her pulmonologist expressed "grave concern". She has a chronic cough, shortness of breath, is on an inhaler, and feels ill most of the time now. She has apparently developed a hypersensitivity to chemicals; car exhaust, common cleaners, tobacco smoke, air fresheners, scented laundry detergents, people wearing too much perfume can now trigger a chemically-induced asthma attack and/or migraine-like headache.

Worrying is utterly pointless, unhelpful, and in large doses can be toxic. I try not to, but I can't help being very worried about her. I love her very, very much.

I hope she sued them, at least for her medical expenses? It doesn't matter if it was intentional; they have an obligation to provide safety.

Get that checked out - could be heart disease.

I'm worried about having worked too much to ever relate to anyone close to me again. I'm the lone hacker.

Are you putting your feet up? I mean, really UP, above the level of your heart, not just sticking them "up" on a recliner. You have to lie down, then prop your feet up so they are at least a foot above your heart level. The usual recommendation is 10 minutes twice daily. Obviously do what your doctor tells you, but people have a tendency to let slide positional things that can help.

If you spend a lot of time on your computer, put your feet up on a stool, so at least they are not hanging down all the time.

And of course, any walking is good for your circulation.

You have to take care of yourself, please.

Do you drink a lot of water, or take diuretics beyond the BP meds?

I get my recommended 8 glasses of water daily via various means. also take hydrochlorothiazide and a nutritional supplement containing celery seed extract [natural diuretic] and also magnesium and olive leaf extract, all to help my ticker keep ticking.

Crowd sourcing of medical treatments. :D :D 8O

At least you know many people care for you, AB!

Most of my worries are short lived and situational... :| More than half of it doesn't involve myself.

The closest worry I have for myself and in long term, would be just having an aging and declining body -- whether someone would take care of me or not, I don't like it when I'm being the center of other people's worry.

So... Yes. I'm more worried about others being worried about me.
To some extent, worried about not being worried enough for myself actually.

If I take account of other's worry -- would my words or actions count? I'd likely assume not because I would never know the whole story.
I just trust others enough that there are things they can resolve themselves, trust others enough that others can catch them and would not be alone in their conflict or in danger...
And trust that whatever conflict they were enduring can end, and I have no idea how to throw a bone without feeling like a fool or being forced... Unless they ARE truly alone and/or in danger.
