Which is worse?
I'd say underestimation.
While I am more commonly over estimated which is definitely a problem, as I can't keep up at all, I see my friends with down syndrome and even some of my autistic friends and realize how badly I don't want to be underestimated.
Imagine being treated like a young child your entire life. Imagine being smart and really passionate about something but believing you can't do anything because people treat you like you never will. I see this happen to people quite a bit.
