I feel like there's much commonality in how people experience stress.

Alas, it's more than a feeling. Stress is a way of life.

I wouldn't say being stressed is a feeling, rather a state of affairs. I say that because you can be super stressed but still feel happy and positive emotions.

It could be a "feeling" because you experience physical symptoms with stress sometimes. You "feel" stress with your body.

Now this is what I believe may have happened with me on occasions where I have had unexplained partial shutdowns.... Other times I am expecting shutdowns... I Do get stressed but it is hard to explain. I know I'm stressed but through feeling like my head is compressed, but this often comes way after the triggrr of the stress has arrived? Though I have gone into shutdowns straight after my brother has said "Help me lift this..." and I wasn't expecting to be asked or him to want it lifted, so I wasn't prepared, and wham! It hits me! Rare as normally I can delay shutdowns and have partial shutdowns without anyone knowing as I can disguise the effects... (Which I usually do by making my relaxing and recovering look like I am just chilling out! No one knows!

State of affairs? Someone mentioned emotional feeling earlier... Umm. I will flag these in my mind and think about them later.

I have been thinking lots. Stress feels like pressure rather then a feeling like pain or other feelings are. Pressure is hard to describe. Does not feel so much as it builds up so it indicates rather then feels, as pressure could be other things as well.... I guess secondary indicators can indicate stress better.

I am feeling anxiety now as it is time to go to work... Only a few days left though. While it is great to finally know what this feeling is (Anxiety) as I've had it on and off for ever since I can remember! But I'd rather not have it! I mean... I want it in that I don't want to be anxious and have no feeling of it... But...Umm. Anyway. Must go! See yoh later!
