True, I just figured that out and both lists leave out a few people. But even tho not all famous aspies are on the famous aspie list the percentage is significant.

Huh?

Since when does 1/250 equal 2/5?

1/250 equals 0.004, while 2.5 equals 0.4 -- a difference of 100 times.

Total fail.  Please try again.

Scroll back. My math shows that if we are represented by our total population only 2/5 of an aspie should be on the top 100 famous list. There are at least 8. I have a degree in philosophy. I have no idea how that math argument is an example of solipism.

1/250 of 100 is 4/5.

You do see that since we are 1/250 of the population we should have less then one person on the top 100 most famous?

I think your confusing personality types with actual diagnosed autistic people.

Neurotypical people can have some autistic traits like be very good at maths and science, but be otherwise normal and very functional in everyday life. In fact most of the geniuses you mention are probably not even aspies at all, some may have BAP at the most.

Bill Gates is often referred to as autistic but has never been diagnosed. In fact, there`s more evidence these days that he`s not autistic since the COVID crisis and his seemingly high functionality in the media.

The same probably goes for the rest you allude to, name me one so called autistic genius who was actually diagnosed?

Sadly, ASD remains a disability for most and a high IQ is not everything, even the late great Stephen Hawking a neurotypical with an extraordinary high intelligence once said” people who boast about their IQ are losers”.

"Super Heroes" typically have powers that are not even in accord with the laws of physics.
I am unusually good at engineering, and have proven it with prototypes, but my communication skills mean that I have not made a difference to others.

True and a point I made many times on WP in reference to retrodiagnosing and "diagnosing" celebrities.
BUT
One of the skills Autistic people have is being exacting, being a stickler for getting things correct so they are not just semantics for us. That WP has a lot of "semantics" debates is Autistics being Autistic.

From the posts I have read in this thread I understand why so many of us have problems. WE ARE TOO DAMN HUMBLE!! ! All I was saying is that since we are judged by our disabilities our extreme abilities should also be considered.

Humility does not seem to have a large effect on a career. Many celebrities are praised for being humble. Edwin Hubble was not, but his bragging was tolerated because he also got results. There are also many non-humble people who are just considered irritating.
I think that our problem is actually to do with salesmanship. Things that seem self-evident to a logical mind after a brief introduction just don't have enough room to show themselves in a mind awash with emotions and news. The majority of people have to be tricked into not harming themselves, because advertising easily produces the opposite effect.
However, promotion is a separate skill set from coming up with things worthy of promotion. That's why I think we need to form partnerships.

I never said that neurotypicals cannot be good at math etc. As a matter of fact there are more neurotypical math geniuses than aspie math geniuses. However, as a percentage neurotypicals are fewer.

"Super-Powers" come in four basic flavors:

1. Exceptional Abilities: The character is a normal human whose natural abilities are better than most people's, but still fall within the range of normal human abilities.  Examples: Batman, Ironman, or Sherlock Holmes.

2. Enhanced Abilities: The character's otherwise normal abilities have been purposely amplified beyond the normal human range by magic, nature, or technology.  Examples: Captain America, The Flash, or The Hulk.

3. Uncanny Abilities: The character has acquired abilities and with which no ordinary human is born, but that may be represented by other natural creatures.  The acquisition is usually by accident of magic, nature, or technology.  Examples: Aquaman, Spiderman.

4. Miraculous Abilities: The character has acquired abilities that defy known physical laws and any reasonable extrapolation thereof.  These characters are usually the most powerful.  Examples: Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, or Superman.

In the Real World, the best that any human can hope for is Category 1: Exceptional abilities that do not exceed human abilities.  Olympic and Professional athletes fall into this category, as well as scientists, and mathematicians.  So, in a sense, even the most talented human -- neurotypical or otherwise -- is still only a very talented human.
