Badminton, table tennis, and sometimes I engage in track & field.

to quote from h.l. mencken- "i hate sports the way people who like sports hate common sense." but i don't mind monster vehicle competitions or tractor pulls as those have some engineering smarts along for the ride.

Geez, you're into those? I think those are some of the few among motorsports that I don't actually like. Do you feel like more common circuit or road course racing doesn't have enough engineering? Just watch all the rule and design changes on F1 cars between seasons, or between races even, I think this past year there was a lot of mid-season tweaking going on in aerodynamic surfaces. I mean, they even use the stream of exhaust to create downforce by routing it along the aerodynamic surfaces.
I mostly watch tractor pulls to see stuff blow up.

road racing is too intense for me, and too protracted. for my attention span, the monster vehicle competitions are just right. the only thing i DON'T like is when those poor things blow up due to operator error. a GOOD operator avoids overtaxing the powertrains.

4 days played in the test match between India and England and the latter lead by 380 runs going into the final day tomorrow

That is a lovely lead after 4 days as India now need to make a decision over their approach, go for it and try to beat it or bat out the day for a draw? Going for the draw always feel like you are inviting danger to me.

Running. And ping-pong, though I haven't had the opportunity to play it in a very long time, unfortunately.

Sometimes I like to watch random sports that seem exotic to me during the Olympics, but that's about it. No interest at all in following any sports, and below-zero interest in participating in any team sport. Unless you count e-sports (which I don't, but for watching purposes I guess it's not all that different). For some reason, I find Overwatch matches interesting to watch sometimes.
