I don't think they're officially classed as my carers, but I'm 32 and still basically dependent on my parents in many ways. If my parents weren't in my life, I'd probably be assigned an official carer of some sort, or else be in very dire straits.

The support worker makes all my appointments now, it's great.

Could the disorganization and inability to make appointments be ADHD/ADD rather than autism?

I have ADHD traits which overlap with the ASD but i dont have enough traits for a separate diagnosis.
