Ha, the only "A+" I received in high school was when I recited the ta, ta, ti-ti ta thingy and its various iterations that I had to copy from the teacher with claps and verbalization; far too easy for me.

That's probably more related to my ability to remember patterns and orders rather than musical talent, or maybe that's what music is, i.e., rhyme?

I also played guitar (semi-poorly) in a Blur cover band in my hometown called Band 2 (because - since we live in America - the only requests we ever got were for "Song 2". Needless to say, we didn't last long. We were pretty much done after three months in Mid-2007.)
