I act like a goddamn kid whenever it's tea time. lol although not while I'm eating.

I'm obsessed with 7" singles and I listen to the same song over and over, like, 50 times in a row. I now pace whilst doing this, I used to jump up and down on the spot but housemates complained.

Yeah.

I was trying to figure out a thread in which to post this ancedote...but I guess this is the thread for it.
Yesterday i had a friend help me go on the beer run because I don't drive and Flakey is out of town.
This particular friend seems so intensely AS-ish that I seem almost glaringly NT next to him....we get to the grocery store and get the bottled water we had come for and then he says he wants to check on something...which is this particular type of canned pinto beans that they only carry sometimes...so he runs down one aisle to look for them then he remembers they are a different aisle..so he run run runs down that aisle and finds them and is so extatic and jumping up and down about the pinto beans (they were also on sale)...that the entire aisle is captivated by the display....it was funny
He also told told the checkout guy about the fact that Americans use enough plastic bags every year to wrap the entire planet several times over....(i forget the exact statistic) He is frequently rattling off statistics like that to random people

This is but one example from one of the most eccentric and VERY AS-ish people that i know. i have know him for several years. He is just a little bit younger tham my parents.

As for me...I still don't necc. claim AS...just ADD with AS symptoms...
but

I don't have a monotonous diet..
I don't have monotonous dress...unless you count almost always wearing something that I have screenprinted on....and the clothes that I wear tend to be eccentric (but not necc. stylishly so)..everything I wear has to have the neck cut out of it and I don't think i own a stitch of clothes that I actually wear that is not stained with screen printing ink or paint.
I do act alot like a child and am often prone to babbling to myself and singing loudly in public.
Most of my eccentricity lies in the way I talk and the akward way I carry myself.
I am also always almost bumping into people.

somehow i dont see how not having a cellphone is eccentric or odd behaviour, its just not having a cell phone. seems more like a choice to me or finachial circumstance, the same could be said for wearing a watch.

Eccentric behaviour
i sometimes jump into a room an say taadaa! like im a suprise
i wear clothes that can be considerd where's waldoish (stripped ts and charlie brown pants)
im dramatic about conversations of things i like frequently getting crazy.
i have dance partys in my room, by myself.

Odd behaviour
i talk to myself
ive named my meteorite ernesto and have conversations with it
i like to smell my fingers after theyve (dear god close your eyes) touched my balls
i still eat my boogers
i used to steal peoples clothes

this sounds like something that i might do, but i would try to pass it off as intentional silliness and not the genuine reaction that it is


some of my more noticeable eccentricities....

*i have been known to dance in public for no apparent reason (i.e. at a grocery store), but i refuse to dance at a wedding, party, etc. when there is an expectation for me to dance

*i flip people off (even family) when they try to take a picture of me, my avatar is one of the few pictures that someone snuck by my radar

*i can and do eat the same foods over and over (people where I used to work found this very odd), and i generally have one meal that i order per restaurant and if i branch out i am always disappointed

*i only like comfortable clothes and shoes, and my dress resembles a teenagers (not a trendy or fashionable teenager) more so than a 30-something's, if i have to dress up it makes me very grumpy

i'm sure there are many more that i am unaware of

Well, everybody has'em these days. It's a bit like not having a tv in the old days. Plus I guess it's a clear signal that you don't have any friends
