I think the mods do an excellent job of getting rid of the real trolls. But again, this stuff comes with comorbids. PTSD has rage involved, while it should not be directed at anyone, it can come across as such.

It does? I have PTSD, but not rage. Never came across rage as a PTSD feature while studying psychology in college either. To the best of my knowledge and according to the DMS-IV, PTSD is no more likely to have rage be a part of it than any other psychological condition.

Sorry, I'm nit-picky and I have this nasty little habit of correcting people.

Maybe you need to reconsider what your perspective of an internet troll is. Trolls are often highly intelligent, in fact some of them are probably a damn sight brighter than yourself. The thing with highly intelligent people is that the get bored more easily, so occasionally they need to brighten up the more boring of the threads. Support sites tend to be full of such threads, hence why they get trolled. In certain cases, the help that these people need is probably way better provided by a good troll.

If that wasn't so stupid, I'd laugh. I've been consistently bored my entire life, by everthing from honors classes in school and college to the typical play that most NT children found fun. Do I go and find people to harass? No. You know why? My self-esteem is intact. These trolls are power seekers. They lack confidence so much that they need to prey on others (usually vulnerable individuals) because in real life they are pitiful souls. Most of them won't try that crap in a forum that isn't full of people having moments where they are struggling and need to reach out. Vulnerability is a lure. It's a perceived weakness. Funny thing about that is that it takes a lot more strength and courage to reach out for help, even anonymously, than it does nto be a troll.

Highly intelligent? Perhaps. Weak-minded and pathetic? Absolutely.

There is no such thing as good "trolling" because even if it doesn't cause harm to anyone else, it does to the "troll"'s reputation, whether it's a joke or not.

There's no such thing as a good troll, nor a good reason for a troll. It's a form of cyber bullying and they are often quite verbally abusive. I don't enjoy humor at the expense of others, and I consider my sense of humor quite intact.

Well if you want to sit around all day remaining bored feel free. Lets start from the beginning. A troll got to you, which is why you made this thread. If your self esteem was as intact as you claim, then you would not have been bothered by this troll, let alone bothered enough to start this thread whining about it. As for trolls irl some might be a bit pitiful, but not a patch on those who go and whine on those support sites. Thats not strength and courage, its being plain miserable. Personally I dont particuarly want to read lots of threads by whiners, and a good troll gets rid of them. See them as dutiful alturistic waste disposal personel, rather than the devils you seem to believe they are.

Pretty much all humour and jokes are at the expense of someone. Your coming across as an incredibily boring person who cannot take jokes with that post. Asides, someone who is comfortable with who they are can laugh at oneself. Maybe you have an inaccurate perception of yourself.

Are you sure that you don't have Narcissistic Personality Disorder rather then AS?

I'm not even going to dignify any of that BS with a response. I'm just going to laugh and shake my head. It's like trying to explain the theory of relativity to a 6 month old, it just isn't going to get through and the only response you're going to get is a bunch of incoherent babbling that really means nothing to the listener.

Do you even realize how pathetic it is to hide behind a computer screen and act like a big shot?

People troll internet forums to merely compensate for being computer failures in the real world.

Just a heads up.

Beautiful, Hadron!!

LOL at how you're being bullied for holding an opposing view. I thought bullying wasn't allowed here anymore!! And someone even questioned your AS diagnosis!! I thought we weren't allowed to do that either, because that was akin to a witchhunt *gasp* :P

What hypocritical BS.

The OP is obviously a troll.

That is an absolute fact.
