Oh I love WP. SG1, and other people who can go on for hours about a subject.

Well me ; SG1 ( up to a point , well maybe not actually, except that don't like SG Atlantis ! ! Nor the series since the Ori, so that's a limit!)
Gluten, you know, the protein in wheat ( and oats and rye and barley), and its role in the development of Western Civilisation!!
Horror films, some comedy films. Films.
Childrens stories from the golden age ! ! ( mainly the 60's and 70's!)
The Lord of the Rings.
Psychology!!
Science fiction ideas, which is where I came in
and ME

I can speak at length about how jazz began to fragment shortly after the advent of bebop. It wasn't given a much of a chance after that, because the music began to move away from the composer and more toward the virtuoso improviser. This is why we now have so many "standard" tunes that everyone plays. I can also speak at length, based on a great deal of research I've done, about how christianity never really existed until Constantine invented it as a way of bulking up the Roman empire.
I can become quite tiresome on why I think health-care should be free. I can go on for hours about the similarities between dionysus and jesus. And I can go on forever about the things I can go on forever about. Someone stop me!

I talk about Linux and computers too much, and most people can't understand it.

YEAH! A lot of things with me end up gyrating towards computers! You know, it is interesting. People talk about compatibility problems with Linux, but ***IT*** is what is based on POSIX(Windows only CLAIMS it), IT had the version based directories. IT is based on a platform that existed years before M/S even existed.

And as for windows? Well, the product my company uses most does NOT run on XP or vista! HECK, OS/2 lost out primarily because windows changed their driver format, etc... They even SUED because of it. I think that issue got lost in the governments case which ITSELF should never have happened because it was/is FACT that M/S violated terms of the earlier borland ruling, but the stupid Lotus ruling made borland too weak to see any point in appealing.

Speaking of which, did you hear? I was WAITING for this! Transmeta FINALLY sued INTEL! INTEL got off cheap. It will only cost them 250 million over the next 5 years. GRANTED transmetas patent is not based on new technology, etc... but they have FAR more right to it than Amazon or NTP have on theirs.

Did I say I could talk about this for hours!?

Whenever I do talk I talk about my mountain biking adventures. I'll talk about something science related if it comes up in a conversation, that always perks my interest.

-Autism, especially autistic advocacy
-Psychology-mostly abnormal psychology
-supernatural
-weird facts that I pick up on Livescience.com
I find that I have no clue as to how to make "light" conversation. Let's say that someone says that it's cold for November. My mind will automatically conjure up info from 2 months ago that read on the weather channel site about statistics, and averages. I will then recite in detail what I read about the average temps for my state at any given time. This will go on for about 5 minutes before I realize (if I do at all) that the other person was just trying to make small talk. So, to an extent, I can go on forever about a variety of topics, given I have some sort of personal knowledge about it.
