I like bad weather too. I get depressed in the winter months because of the short days, so I use a lightbox, yet I do still love the autumn/winter gales and if we're lucky, thunderstorms. Don't get many of those though, but I enjoy watching the lightning. I love snow but I live near the coast so we rarely get any, maybe a couple of centimetres, but it doesn't last for more than a few days.

Storms are stimulating, I LOVE disasters-- fires, tornadoes, anything ominous that threatens to kill!

Yes I like to watch severe thunderstorms develop. I don't see that too much in Rhode Island but I did see that in South Carolina. I was also obsessed with tornados when I was little. Matter of fact I still am to some extent.

I would like some bad weather now. I'm getting really impatient waiting for some good hard soaking rains. Seattle has too many raw gray days with only a few drops of rain. Too little to even use the windshield wipers. If it's going to be gray I want it to really rain. I miss big fat thunderstorm raindrops. All we get here are little drizzle drops.

Especially snowstorms. There have been so many storms that track just far enough south they miss Battle Creek. I don't like it if the power goes out for a few days because that disrupts my whole routines. Ice storms are different because they don't seem like a regular storm, but it sure makes the trees look majestic. I also don't like hot, humid weather in the summer. I'd rather have ridiculously cold temperatures than hot, humid weather. However, my asthma doesn't like either one. I'm rambling a bit here.

My parents live in Grand Rapids, MI. I remember a few times in the past few years where we had thunderstorms while it was below freezing in the middle of January or February. I'm talking sleet and freezing rain accompanied by frequent loud thunder! I also remember a few nasty thunderstorms growing up. I remember one that came through in the evening with a 90 mph wind gust and another at night where the lightning was so close and frequent that multiple power surges fried a bunch of stuff in our house. I also miss the lake effect snow squalls. I loved how there could be a whiteout one minute yet the sun could come out the next minute. I miss all that crazy weather.

When it rains, I'm happy.

When abrupt thunder happens, not very happy but for a breif moment. It makes me jumpy.

I do however love lightning. Also like to make music when it's raining.

Does anyone else like to look outside the window and watch people run to get out of the rain?

I always jump when I see lightning. I like watching though. Jumpily, lol.

I don't like grey days when it doesn't rain, just grey skies. So boring. :(

I live in socal, 99.9% of the year we have clear blue skies. I get happy when we have so much as a single puffball cloud in the sky. I love weather.

I love "bad weather". Rain or snow really calm me. Just this morning I got totally soaked, because I walked extra slow in the rain. And it was only 4 degrees outside! (that would be Celsius ;)). You know, like when it's so cold that you face goes all tingly? That makes me happy. It probably also makes me pretty strange ;)

I love severe storms :D...

They cheer me up, but also at the same time, reassure me of how tiny I am, compared to the entire universe.

Thunderstorms, blizzards (especially the ones last December and January), tornadoes, hurricanes...you name it and I'm probably fascinated with them when they are occurring! :)

I like rain too. I love how it cools things off, how it gets the painfully bright sun out of the sky, how it makes the air feel and smell so good.

I used to love snow too, and sort of still do...except now that I have to shovel and drive in it, I'm not quite as crazy about it as I used to be :D

I used to love rain, until I moved to Florida. When it rains here during the wet season, it is far from refreshing. Everything is damp and sticky, and sometimes smelly. It rarely produces that fresh, just washed air that other regions get after a good rain. And tiny bugs torment you afterward.

I have to agree with that, cloudy days with no sun are very much fun. However I also enjoy rain, especially when it means I don't have to mow the law for a while. But it can also be pretty annoying when there's simply too much of it. I also enjoy the snow quite a bit, but I don't get to see if offten unless I'm out of state. Afterall I live in Houston Tx, so snow only happens here once every blue moon.

I LOVE cold, stormy, rainy weather! I wish I could move to seattle :)

I don't like the heat of Sacramento summers- It's hellish. I miss the fog and ooler temps of the San Fran BAy Area where I grew up.
