When I close my eyes right now, I see a flashing 'green-ness' creeping in from the corners of my eyes.

If I close my eyes tightly, I first see static, then I see shapes forming within the static. It's a pretty cool quick visualization, but my eyes hurt after a while.

I would like to visualise things clearly, though. It could help in induction of lucid dreams.

Right now, it's a red light that slowly turned orange

Recognize, yes?

Then, I see yellow spider legs coming from this dark square. Soopervilin sees this too, I think. Do you with your eyes closed?

I don't see the text, black squares or even the green, just the yellow lines. I couldn't find a picture of a totally stripped down circuit board, so I just used the closest thing I could find.

Once I tried to draw what I see in MS Paint, but it's too complex and just made me dizzy. I have noticed that some parts of it look different, flicker strangely or are completely absent when I have a headache or some other ailment.

I see and allways have done, I small sun, that flashes dim and bright, the dim sun being in a slightly offset position to the bright sun.

Its nice, when I was younger I would often close my eyes just to see the lovely bright sun.

I see a purple-ish floating square. I wonder what that is...

The little wormy squiggles are called floaters and are totally normal. Everybody sees them. You might also see round ones. They're just left-over cells floating around in your eyes. They don't really move randomly, though. They sink down, and trying to watch them makes them appear to move (since moving your eye obviously moves the floater as well, making it impossible to keep up unless it's perfectly centered).

I have a few round floaters in my right eye and I hate them because they're so distracting. The showed up right after I had an eye exam several years ago.

When I close my eyes, I see a clearer version of what I last looked at with my eyes open.

It's almost like I took a photograph which came out blury, then by focusing on certain details with my eyes shut I can make it become clear...

I usually see a weird "white noise" effect of extremely faint, ever changing patterns, sometimes colored, sometimes forming faint images if I'm very deep in a daydreaming state (I'm an extremely visual thinker and ideas often come to me as images). I'm assuming it's probably activity in the neurons in the visual cortex at the back of my brain

I see a continuous series of images like watching a film. Sometimes a face that continuously changes with different features changing shape, sometimes a scene. When traveling on a bus I close my eyes and see a moving scene out the window different from the actual view, as if I am traveling in an alternate universe. When I am bored I close my eyes and watch the images. I never know what comes next. As a child I was very surprised to learn that everyone did not see the images that I saw.

My imagination works best when my eyes are open. I can easily tune out the external visual information and focus on my thoughts.

When I close my eyes, I see vague shapes and colors filtered through static. I ignore it and create my own images.

Other than a black void there's a faint static in dull blue and red/brown.
If I pay attention I can see it change in different ways. It's very faint.
The other night it formed like a honeycomb of green lines; I suppose it has to do with approaching the hypnagogic state.

Oh man, i used to see such vivid images when I was younger. I used to be terrified by horror movies so I'd try to close my eyes but that only made things worse because the pictures I would imagine would be so much more graphic than anything that would actually be on the screen. I remember the movie "The Frighteners" came out when I was like 8 years old and it really scared the bejesus outa me.
