No offense, but I actually don't give a hoot about BG's potential for spectrumhood. Clearly he ain't responding, so he either doesn't care or doesn't want to know.

What I do care about is how hard it is to pin down what it is to be ASD.

What I really want to say is that I am sick to death of being told that a particular framework is all there is. A spectrum must allow for an array of possible variations.

What I'd like to see is the so-called experts admit they really don't know shite about us but are working hard to find out with open minds for discovery.

It's not that he made it in those terms, but rather what he made. I mean, the man is a computer genius that makes NTs look like idiots (not just to us, but to themselves)

Also, the fact that he achieved what he has in their eyes means that they might stop talking down to us all the time if they associate him with us. It would be nice for future generations of aspies to not have to fear bullying for being nerds.

Jealousy is a reason people bully other people. In America often social skills are respected more then intelligence.

My life is a living example of what ASPartofMe said.

You were, definitely, NOT to show your intelligence in class where I went to school.

I find it interesting that Windows bullied / nagged me extensively into getting windows 10, and even now when I've downloaded a windows 10 preventer, microfascist turns off my computer against my will every few hours.

The microsoft view of the world stinks and I fear it is operative in actually reducing intellects. (my pictures, my ego, my income, my neurotic sickness, my friends, their politics).

Even our cities start to resemble the same Motherboard.

Somehow I doubt that saying "I'm an autistic genius like Bill Gates" is likely to stop many bullies from bullying nerdy-looking people, either now or in the foreseeable future.
