Ya know, frankly, I'm starting to wonder why I DON'T highjump into bed. Aside from the fact that I'm a thin 260 pounds and would probably burst the casters. Sounds like fun. Why NOT, if you don't damage the thing, enjoy yourself? Why does "growing up" have to be "growing boring"? We have much to learn from kids.

I'm 6' and 230, but it doesn't stop me ;-)

This abuse of flimsy beds has resulted in us giving them up. We all now sleep on the floor and have been sleeping on the floor for years. We don't like to sleep in beds now.

i used to run and jump because i was afraid of ankle grabbing. and also just because. but the bed i have now is pretty high off the ground, so i don't jump in it, i just crawl under it.

i will running-jump into family/friends/hotel beds though. but mostly i just knock the breath out of poor garret, who i spontaneously jump/slam into all the time.

I have high jumped into my bed. It is a bunk bed so it is about chest high off the ground.
The tricky part is jumping high enough to clear the bed, but not smack into the low ceiling we have.

Do you take a running jump into bed? I do it every night. My wife says it's too childish for a man of 42, but I tell her I'm just energetic.

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.
