A shame I'm no longer in communication with Kevin Chandler as he could probably explain, being another very smart and knowledgeable guy, just what is measured to calculate the normalising, and whether or not it relates to IQ. Shouldn't autism researchers be looking at this sort of stuff? As things are, they won't touch it with a bargepole!
This is a real shame where people with autism are concerned, as, like with IQ, the problems would almost certainly be ameliorated if the right education was developed, for both them and their carers, to help them better communicate with each other. If autism research doesn't look at this sort of stuff, then why does it even exist?
