Heh, I'm not.

I've met some men whom I'd consider autistic. They, frankly, weren't people who I see myself talking to.

I don't know whether I'm HFA or Aspergers. I was diagnosised with severe Autism when I was young, but I have progressed so much that I've been redianosised with Aspergers. But the thing is, that would mean I have "cured" Autism and changed to Aspergers, which is different. So confusing!

It's common for people with autism to improve as they develop; the only problem is that it may come back in full force at a later time, early-adulthood for example, or it may not.

Improve is different then completely change from not ever going to speak kind of Autism to extremely high functioning honor roll Autism

Maybe you simply hadn't yet thought of anything consequential to say.

I've noticed most young children don't contribute much to serious discussion, to say nothing of their ability to mix a good martini.

No, that's how improve is defined; I was in the "not speaking" camp, and I gained adequate speech; anyone who gains adequate speech will be rediagnosed as Asperger's (depending on the institution) if they're able to communicate their point across and they don't "stim" almost constantly when in the presence of people.

It's common for people with autism to improve in this way.

or a rifle - Martini/Henry
or a wine - Martini and Rossi

Sarcasm: Difficult for an aspie IRL. Hell for an aspie OL.

On a separate note: I don't trust anyone, family included. Trust meaning without a doubt. I doubt or am skeptical of everyone.
