I make it a point never to get sick. Whenevr I'm around sick people (my roomate) or think I may feel a little something (fever) I immediatly start taking vitamins, getting rest, praying, etc. I hate, hate, hate getting sick. I get terrible respitory problems as a result that last for months. When I was young I'd get sick and my bronchitis would get really bad, had inhalers and stuff, couldn't do certain activities. I hated that. Now it's not so bad though sometimes it can get rather serious (can't walk a flight of stairs without an attack) so I try my best not to get sick at all.
Aside from that I have a thing about germs. If I know someone is sick or that there are definite germs somewhere, I freak out. My roomate once had the flu and I was wiping down and disinfecting every surface everytime she left the room. Washing my hands every 4 hours. My friends all thought I was out of my mind. But I could not handle the thought of her germs around me. I even had to open the window at night ( in the winter!) in the hopes that her germs would float away. I didn't know I could be that much of a germaphobe. I even had a panic attack watching a news special about rapidly spreading disease...-_-'''
It's really only if I notice or pay attention to the fact that there are germs. I can touch the hand rail in a public building just fine, but everytime I hear someone cough or sneeze I freak and try to cover my mouth/nose. I hate being near someone that could possibly have germs. *shudder*
